Day 01 - Welcome to Buenos Aires !!

Welcome to Buenos Aires!!

Today, enter the world of Oneworld Tours as you begin your beautiful journey of South America. On arrival at the Buenos Aires Airport, you will be met by your experienced and professional Tour Manager in the arrival hall, located outside the customs hall. Proceed to your hotel and check in.

Tonight, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 02 – Buenos Aires – Guided city tour

After a delicious breakfast, proceed for a guided tour of the most popular attractions of Buenos Aires. The tour includes the National Congress, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Old Italian Street, Pink Palace, Rose Garden, The Soccer Stadium, Government House and the area of Plaza de Mayo. Then you will visit La Boca a colorful suburb – today’s home for important artists. Today’s final destination is sophisticated Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhood in which among other attractions, you can take a look at the famous cemetery alongside fine restaurants and cafes. Enjoy Tango show in the evening. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 03: El Calafate – The glacier capital of the glaciers

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight to El Calafate - declared the national capital of the glaciers. Arrive into El Calafate, and check into your hotel. You have time at leisure to explore this small town set on the edge of Los Glaciares National Park and amidst dramatic scenery and natural beauty. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 04: El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier excursion inside the Los Glaciers National Park

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, get set for a day full of spectacular natural beauty. Today, you have the exciting experience of the enormous Perito Moreno Glacier – located inside the Los Glaciares National Park. After entering the Andean Patagonian forest area, stop at "Curva de los Suspiros" (Sighs Curve), to enjoy the first panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier, continuing to the platforms and balconies in front of the glacier, having free time to visit them on your own. After a stunning day inside the National Park return to El Calafate. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 05: On to Lima

After a buffet breakfast check out and proceed to the airport for your flight to Lima, the capital of Peru. On arrival into Lima proceed to the hotel and check in. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 06: Lima – Guided city tour including the Gold Museum

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel proceed on a guided city tour of Lima. Visit the Plaza Mayor, where you will see the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the City Hall. Also visit the XVII century church and cloister of San Francisco, a world cultural heritage. See the modern residential suburb of San Isidro and downtown Miraflores, with its Park of Love to enjoy splendid views of the Pacific Ocean. Later, drive to Monterrico and visit the Gold Museum, one of Peru's largest private collections that displays countless examples of pre-Hispanic gold, silver and copper necklaces, bracelets, rings, masks, vases, erotic pottery, tools, statuettes, and many more. Later, enjoy some time at leisure and explore the city centre and shop for souvenirs. After an Indian dinner spend some time at the beautiful Plaza Aramas prior returning to the hotel. Day 07: On to Cusco. City tour of Cusco

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel proceed to the airport for your flight to Cusco. On arrival into Cusco proceed on a guided city tour. Start your trip visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, built over the Koricancha, and ancient Inca palace and main worship center of the Sun God. Later, we will stop at the Main Square, where you can find the Cathedral and the beautiful Church of La Compañía. Also, visit the Sacsahuaman Fortress, imposing sample of military Inca architecture which domains the city. Finally, take a look at the archaeological sites of Qenko, Puca- Pucara and Tambomachay, located north east of the city. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 08: Cusco - Machu Pichu

Breakfast. Today’s schedule is an early transfer to the railway station for the train to Machu Picchu. We take four-hour scenic train ride to the Peruvian town of Aguas Calientes. Transfer to a bus for a brief journey to the much-visited archaeological site of Machu Picchu.

You can walk to the Sun Gate for sweeping views of the area below or wander the stone path of the Inca Bridge. Don't forget to capture the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, as there are loads of photo-worthy moments waiting around every corner! Return journey to the bright lights of Cusco. Hop on the train and ride back to the city, away from the magnetic heritage of mighty Machu Picchu - a mesmerizing place that will leave an imprint on your soul! (Meals: B, L, D)

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel proceed to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Arrive into Iguassu and check into the hotel. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 10: Iguassu Falls – Brazil & Argentina. Folklore Dinner Show

Upon arrival in Iguassu, transfer from the airport to Foz Do Iguacu home to the Brazilian National Park. Today enjoy the thrilling Iguassu Falls – A Natural Wonder of the World from Brazilian side.

The Great Adventure tour begins at the Centro de Visitantes (Visitors' Center) or at Iguazu Jungle Explorer's Head Office, where tourists take a 4x4 tour around the forest. Finally, tourists will face San Martin Waterfall, the largest waterfall any motorboat can approach safely.

After lunch we proceed to the Argentinean National Park towards the Argentinean Falls. You will make a short stop at the Visitor’s Center and proceed from there along to the Inferior Circuit, the Down-River Falls, to the Superior Circuit, the Up-River Cascades. The Ecological Jungle Train leads you to the most impressive observation point of the falls - The Devil´s Throat. This is the tallest falls amongst the 275 falls that comprises Iguassu Falls. As we walk out to the Devil’s Throat, we pass a huge number of colorful birds, butterflies and a few voracious coatis. Like always we will give you plenty of time to collect your memories in your camera. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 11: Iguassu - Rio de Janeiro. Samba show at Platforma with dinner

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janerio. On arrival proceed to your hotel and check in. Later in the evening, proceed for dinner followed by Samba show at Platforma – The show is a display of the Brazilian music tradition and rich Carnival costumes and the contagious beat of the drums. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 12: Rio de Janeiro. Visit the Sugar Loaf. Guided city tour. Rio de Janeiro. Corcovado Mountain and Boat tour of Guanabara Bay.

After breakfast, we proceed for touring around Sugar Loaf Mountain - huge cone shaped rock made of granite rising 1300 feet high above water – landmark of Rio. The Sugar Loaf is a worldwide symbol of Rio de Janeiro.

After Lunch proceed for tour to Corcovado takes you to the Cosme Velho station to catch the cog train. The steep train journey takes you through the dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca to the Art Deco statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain.

In the evening, we proceed for a Boat tour of Guanabara Bay, viewing the incredible “Wonder City” from its most famous bay. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 13: Rio de Janeiro – Sao Paulo by Coach. Guided Sao Paulo city tour.

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel proceed to the airport for your flight to Sao Paulo. On arrival into São Paulo proceed on a guided city tour of São Paulo. Sao Paulo Historical City Tour is a panoramic tour for those willing to have a brief idea about the city’s history, culture, and the lifestyle of the biggest city in the Southern Hemisphere. The city tour takes 3 hours and starts at Centro Cultural. During this tour the visitor will pass by places in Sao Paulo Old Downtown and get familiar with highlights like the Cathedral Se, Patio do Colegio (short stop at the square, the site where the city was founded), Monastery of Sao Bento, the Banespa Building (Sao Paulo’s “Empire State Building”), Martinelli Building (the first skyscraper in South America), Viaduto do Chá (Tea bridge), the Municipal Theater, Concert hall Sala Sao Paulo, train station Estaçao da Luz and the Municipal Market and Butantan Snake Farm. Day 14: Farewell !

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your holiday with One World Tours.
