Architectural and Engineering Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chicago

Welcome to USA, upon arrival transfer to hotel for check in. Later in the evening we transfer for dinner and return to hotel.

Day 2: Visit Chicago Architecture Foundation & Special

After breakfast we proceed for a full day of exploring our potential. Design thinking isn’t just for architects, designers or engineers – let the students explore our collaborative studio learning lab. Studio programs use LEGO bricks, model-making materials, technology and other hands-on tools to apply science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) skills and practice design thinking. Later we proceed to take a Historic Treasures of culture and commerce tour where you Learn about the great late 19th— and early 20th—century architectural landmarks of Michigan Ave. and State St., ranging from museums to department stores, skyscrapers to concert halls, including the Reliance Building, the Sullivan Center and the Chicago Cultural Center. Highlights include interiors of dazzling beauty and startling originality.

Day 3: Chicago Architecture Tour

Today after breakfast we head on Chicago Architecture Tour which will lead you along the River walk and through the history of the industrial landscape that is home to the world’s first skyscraper. Beginning at the country’s second tallest building, the former Sears Tower, and concluding at Frank Ghery’s Pritzker pavilion and Crown Fountain in Millennium Park, this tour will take you along the river and to the waterfront through a path of historically monumental and internationally recognized works of architecture in the downtown loop of Chicago. Later in the day we visit the sky deck of Chicago’s Sears Tower. Enjoy a breathtaking view of Chicago’s amazing skyline.

Day 4: Chicago to Detroit

Check out from hotel after breakfast and proceed to Detroit via coach. Upon arrival in Dearborn we stop for lunch. Then we proceed for a Ford Rouge Tour. This is an opportunity to tour an actual ford factory and immerse your-self in the past, present and future of American automobile and manufacturing. We also visit the Henry Ford Museum. After dinner we check in to relax.

Day 5: Detroit to Niagara Falls (NY)

After a continental breakfast, we check out from hotel to proceed to Niagara Falls NY. Today we shall enjoy a thrilling boat ride aboard the ‘Maid of The Mist’ giving you a breathtaking view of the cascading waters of this majestic waterfall that has no comparison anywhere in the world! Check in at the hotel to freshen up from the damp ride and then proceed for dinner. Later enjoy a spectacular view of the illumination of the falls.

Day 6: Niagara Falls to Washington DC

After breakfast check out from hotel and board your bus to proceed to Washington DC. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax.

Day 7: Washington DC

After our morning breakfast, we proceed to Washington D.C. On arrival enjoy an exciting guided sightseeing tour of this historic and beautiful city. Visit the Washington Monument - The Marble Obelisk built in memory of George Washington. Continue on a panoramic drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, arriving at The Capitol, the White dome–shaped building which serves as the office of elected members of the Senate. Also visit the grand Neo Classical edifice of The White House - the official residence of the President of The United States America. See the Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, World War II Memorial and Supreme Court. After lunch, proceed to the Smithsonian Institution - The World’s Largest Museum Complex, which includes The National Air and Space Museum.

Day 8: Washington Dc to New York

After breakfast check out from hotel and board your bus to proceed to New York. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax.

Day 9: New York

Today after breakfast you will embark on a city tour of New York. We will begin with a visit to USA’S famous landmark “Statue of Liberty”. This will include a ferry ride to Liberty Island for a spectacular view of the New York City skyline. We also visit Ellis Island. Then we proceed for a tour of Lower Manhattan, where historic architecture still retain the flavor of “Old New York“. We continue to view famous sites such as Times Square, Rockefeller center and St Patrick’s Cathedral, “Museum of Natural History", Ground Zero, United Nation, Trump tower. Also see Little Italy, Chinatown and Wall Street. Later visit the famous Empire State Building and take a trip to the 86th Floor Observation Deck.

Day 10: New York – NYU campus tour

This morning we depart for the campus tour of the popular New York University. We shall reserve either the Manhattan campus tour in Greenwich Village of New York city or the school of Engineering in downtown Brooklyn (both are NYU campuses – and choice is based on availability) Evening is reserved for shopping stop at a local mall or Wal-Mart.

Day 11: New York - departure

After breakfast, check out from hotel to transfer to airport for your international flight. Hope you enjoyed and collected lots of good memories to share with your loved ones back home.

Any expenses of personal nature such as portage, laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels etc.
Cost of BTQ, available up to US$ 10,000 for a calendar year which the passenger may wish to carry for their personal expenses.
Passport charges
Baggage charges for internal flights
Cost of deviation, in case if somebody wants to deviate from the group departure dates
Cost of extension of validity of the Air ticket
Any increase in the rate of USD (presently calculated as 1 USD = INR 65) leading to an increase in tour price coming into effect prior to departure. 
Any increase in the Airfare, Airline taxes or any other tax levied by GOI
Service tax as applicable (presently 3.09% on the total tour price)
Any increase in the air fare / taxes / routing changed by the airlines on your ticket (5% Fluctuation)
Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in ‘Inclusions’
