Johnson Space Center Houston with NY, DC & Niagara

Day 01: Welcome to United States of America!!! Arrive Houston

Discover Houston, the largest city in Texas. Oil, cotton and real estate are the backbone of Houston, a proud and wealthy metropolis situated on a vast plain just 50 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. Littered with glittering skyscrapers and endowed with many great galleries, museums and performing arts centers, Houston is as much a cultural center as an economic one. Check into hotel upon arrival. (Meals: D)

Day 02: Visit Johnson Space Center Camp Program

After breakfast proceed to Johnson Space Center Camp. Design, Build, & Launch a Rocket – Teams will engineer a rocket of their own design by deciding which rocket parts are needed and what they can afford given their project budget. Rockets will be launched at NASA’s Johnson Space Center (weather permitting). Train like astronauts in this exciting session! You will participate in underwater training exercises using SCUBA gear in a local indoor pool. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 03: Visit Johnson Space Center Camp Program

After breakfast proceed to Johnson Space Center Camp. Engineer a Rover Lander – Given a set of parameters and tasks each rover must accomplish on Mars, students must decide how to create a robotic rover. They start with a price list for supplies and given varying criteria, students design, build and test their rover. Teams put their rovers to the test on a Martian landscape attempting to locate and retrieve Martian rocks. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 04: Visit Johnson Space Center Camp Program

After breakfast proceed to Johnson Space Center Camp. NASA Tours – Several tours are given at Johnson Space Center, highlighting both Mars and project related themes. See historic Mission Control Centers and the Space Station Mock-up Facility, with its life-sized models of the International Space Station. Visit the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory where astronauts train for Extravehicular Activities (EVA) in simulated microgravity. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 05: Visit Johnson Space Center Camp Program

After breakfast proceed to Johnson Space Center Camp. Talk to NASA Experts – Hear presentations by NASA personnel who are really making space exploration happen. Topics may include: Space Exploration, Rocket Propulsion, Mission Control, the International Space Station, Space Shuttle, Robotics, Space Suit Design or Space Physiology. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 06: Visit Johnson Space Center Camp Program – Fly Washington DC

After breakfast proceed to Johnson Space Center Camp. Lofting Into Space – Given information about specific topics, all groups must present the necessary information to accomplish their rocket, rover, landing and lofting projects. Since teams do not have the same information, communication is critical! Afterwards fly to Washington DC, capital of the United States of America and a Guide to the Historic Neighborhoods and Monuments. Check into hotel upon arrival. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 07: Washington City Tour

After a continental breakfast at your hotel, we proceed for exciting guided sightseeing tour of this historic and beautiful Washington city. Visit the Washington Monument - The Marble Obelisk built in memory of George Washington. Continue on a panoramic drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, arriving at The Capitol, the White dome–shaped building which serves as the office of elected members of the Senate. Also visit the grand Neo Classical edifice of The White House - the official residence of the President of The United States America. See the Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, World War II Memorial and Supreme Court. After lunch, proceed to the Smithsonian Institution -The World’s Largest Museum Complex, which includes The National Air and Space Museum. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Onto Niagara Falls! En route visit the famous Hershey’s Chocolate World. See majestic Niagara Falls by night. (Drive Time is 7 ½ Hrs. Approx.)

Today enjoy drive from Washington D.C. to Niagara Falls. Start your day with a delicious continental breakfast. Later, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive for a visit to the most popular American Chocolate factory at Hershey’s Chocolate World. Engage your senses at the aroma of the cocoa beans. Here you will see the process of how beans are made into milk chocolate. After lunch, continue your scenic journey to the Niagara Falls –one of the natural wonders of the world. (B, L, D)

Day 09: Niagara falls - New York

After continental breakfast, we take you to Niagara Falls to enjoy a thrilling boat ride aboard the “Maid of The Mist” giving you a breath taking view of the cascading waters of this majestic waterfall that has no comparison anywhere in the world! Later experience Niagara Falls incredible, legendary stories on an IMAX screen over six storied tall. The Falls Movie "Niagara: Legends and Daredevils" is the story of real-life adventures. See behind the mist, myths and mysteries of one of the natural wonders of the world. Later transfer to Buffalo airport to board flight to JFK. Overnight stay at hotel. (Meals: B, L, D)

Day 10: City Tour Enjoy guided New York City tour. Enjoy ferry to the Statue of Liberty, Visit 86th floor Observatory at Empire State Building

Today after breakfast you will embark on a city tour of New York. We will begin with visit to USA famous landmark “Statue of Liberty”. This will include ferry ride to Liberty Island for a spectacular view of the New York City skyline. We also visit Ellis Island. Then we proceed for a tour of Lower Manhattan, where historic architecture still retains the flavor of” Old New York“. We continue to view famous sites such as Times Square, Rockefeller center and St Patrick’s Cathedral, Ground Zero, United Nation, Trump tower. Also see Little Italy, Chinatown and Wall Street. Later visit the famous Empire State Building and take a trip to the 86th Floor Observation Deck. (B, L, D)

Day 11: Departure from New York

After breakfast, spend some time at leisure. Depart for the airport to board your flight for India. (Meals: B)

Day 12: Arrive Mumbai

We reach Mumbai with sweet memories of the USA trip.
